I think there's a good chance of it happening!
I think that the easter egg in MP3:Corruption was what made me believe..

Nice art!

In a year people will be posting it on an obscure forum asking when it'll finally be here because it was "confirmed"

Well.. it can happen, would be nice to see a new 2d metroid, following the traditional storyline. I loved the GBA game.

Still.. I liked Metroid Prime Hunters, but it was too quick and a too simple game.. looks like the game was made just for multiplayer and the story mode is just a "bonus".. something like Quake 3

I would like to see the same gameplay on a more complex and longer Metroid game.. with more places to explore, more enemies, power-ups, etc..

I agree with you completely. I intensely enjoyed the GBA 2D metroids, and I would explode if a 2D metroid came to the DS.

lol nice mock up box! Like your sig too it's great.
That easter egg in Metroid Prime 3 made me believe also. It's weird how new 2D Castlevanias and Metroid games get me more excited than 99% of other releases. Hope it does come, the DS deserves it's greatness.

Bubble Bursting time again:

http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2007/09/26/...ime-exclusives/

To spell it out for ya:

MTV: What’s the story behind the apparent reference in “Metroid Prime 3? to “Metroid Dread,” the rumored but never-confirmed 2D game some fans hope is being made at Nintendo?

Pacini: “It’s not what you think it means… it was something that was overlooked and wasn’t in any way indicating anything about the handheld game. We know no information about the handheld games.

MTV: Are you suggesting that you got in trouble or something?

Pacini: Not at all. We actually had a fictional element of something else in the game that by a large coincidence could be read that we were giving a hint about “Metroid Dread” which was not the case. It’s a complete and utter coincidence.

MTV: OK.

Pacini: That’s all I can say on it.

Will you give me mouth to mouth oxygen if my throat closes?
  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
Nah the air can do that
  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
Ask @x65943 he's trained for that stuff

  • x65943 @ x65943:
If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:
    Just kiss me Kyle.
  • x65943 @ x65943:
You either need to be intubated to bypass obstruction or create a stoma inferior to the the area of obstruction to survive
  • x65943 @ x65943:
"Just kiss me Kyle." And I thought all the godreborn gay stuff was a smear campaign

Seems like, your PSU was waiting for a partner.
  • JuanMena @ JuanMena:
    Keep them both
