they didnt come out until after i went to bed last night and i didnt even notice the forum wasnt updated until about 10 minutes ago

and from the looks of it yes it's just a port

No, it is not just a port, animated pic, new moves, run skills and many things has been added. The game was released age ago. i don't understand why they redump it, or maybe it wasn't in japanese but in us.

edit : can someone explain to me why the famicom mini serie is unlisted by advance power, it's really annoying to rename the roms.

Exactly, this one is more than just a port. New graphics, new moves and new stages has been added. The original Double Dragon was my favorite game in the Arcade back in 1987-88. This one is even better

Advance Power is using another system number, I'm sticking with pocketheaven's number for my roms. Otherwise, it's going to be way too complicate to change them all.

Yes, I noticed it too, and I'll continue using the pocketheaven release number...I don't have all the roms (I d/l only the one I like

) but I don't wanna rename all of them!
I can't remember, is this game good or not? I remember about a DD game for gba that wasn't that good.

Hmmm I dunno...language select in the options or something? This game is hella old...took Japan this long to get it? Release 1266 was the US version...oh well...wasn't too bad...

alright double dragon, this is a made game, i loved it in black and white, now its full colour, thats awsome.

An excellent game, though, i didn't realise the US release was that far back

Oh well in my collection now anyway and reliving the old days when i played the original on the master system.
