Does this one have the issues with the background not showing up like the last version of this game that was released (US version I think that was)

If the first post is nothing more than mere spam like "I'm the first to post!", it's deleted. If it also have any comment about the game thought, it can stay.

Frankly, I'd just go and play the RPG versions of the DBZ serie (DBZ: Legacy of Goku 1&2), they're much better than fighting games like these IMHO.

yea i remember playing them too
they are cool but they get kinda boring 1 since the storyline and everything is taken stright out of the manga/anime.. i also remmeber playing a DBZ game where the battles uses cards on the SNES...

I remember that game too, it's called DBZ: Legend of the Super Saiyan (or so the translators call it as the english title since it's japanese-only). Not too bad on the first run but, in term of cards, I would prefer the NES version instead.

lol, haven't been here in a long time, what?
we stopped writing "yay! hooray, i am teh first post0rz!" ages ago
hey, hey, i've been wanting to do that for ages XD

anyway, yeah, look out for the banpresto dbz game. that one will probably be good, more than likely similar to the super butoden games or hyper dimension on the SFC/SNES.

it kinda irks me that american game producers feel the need to slap random japanese into the titles of their games... first budoukai (ok this wasn't all that random, but do they EVER refer to it as the tenkaichi budoukai in the dubbed anime? no.), now taiketsu (this is totally random). what's next, Dragonball Z: Gekitotsu (by FUNimation or whoever makes this stuff)?
