Welcome back to the 360 releases posts, most of the big 360 releases have been covered in one off posts but a roundup was needed so here it is. Homebrew, xbox live arcade and DLC also saw a great deal of good stuff happen.

    Idea behind these threads

<!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>Nukes and related news as well as less notable releases.</b><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

No new nukes since last time (ABGX lists 245). It is worth noting that Final Fantasy 13 got nuked for anydvd corruption in the first two discs but the group released a couple of PPF patches (and a patcher) to fix the problem.
This means <b>Final.Fantasy.XIII.X360-Allstars</b> will need <b>Final.Fantasy.XIII.X360.FIX-Allstars</b>, the patching is simple enough so it would not hurt to run it twice if you are unsure whether your source already sorted it (ABGX360 will tell you too).
    More in <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showtopic=211399&view=findpost&p=2633394" target="_blank">http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showto...t&p=2633394</a>

While it will probably not trouble many around here <b>Assassins.Creed.II.Sequence.13.Bonfire.of.the.Vanities.And.Secret .Locations.DiRFiX.DLC.XBOX360-FYK</b> also appeared, more in the NFO: <a href="http://www.ludibria.com/nfo.php?sys=x36&sysid=2994" target="_blank">http://www.ludibria.com/nfo.php?sys=x36&sysid=2994</a>

    <u><b>Less notable releases</b></u>
Quite a few since last post, again mainly Japanese region dupes of games from last year. <b>Espgaluda_II_Black_Label_JAP_XBOX360-KFC</b> makes the main post.
    Less notable releases

    <u><b>XBLA games and DLC content</b></u>

FYK were joined by XBLAplus and RB-DLC to continue the flood of XBLA and DLC content, naturally you need a homebrew capable 360 to run all this.
Due to the flood NFOs will not be linked up <a href="http://www.ludibria.com/index.php?sys=x36" target="_blank">http://www.ludibria.com/index.php?sys=x36</a> (better yet <a href="http://www.ludibria.com/index.php?sys=x36&ord=1" target="_blank">http://www.ludibria.com/index.php?sys=x36&ord=1</a> ) has them all though if you fancy searching.

    XBLA releases

We saw a fair amount of DLC but unlike previous months there have been quite periods too. Nothing that jumps out at me this time (mainly costume packs and little things) but that is me, you might be different:

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

Major happenings in the homebrew world. Going to be a quick and dirty post but hopefully anything you are interested in has enough links to sort you out.
    Homebrew news

    <u><b>Game updates</b></u>
With the live bans it seems a big need for game updates "offline" appeared and many sites/groups rose to the challenge. This means we have a new section in the 360 releases posts for them. Demos are not really going to be covered.

General info on (offline) game updates
The domain (and various other alternates) seem to have been suspended so no updates today (I have no IP to hand to try that instead), <a href="http://www.elitemodscene.com/" target="_blank">http://www.elitemodscene.com/</a> should have a few updates available to you if you search for them.
    <a href="http://xboxupdates.24.tl/" target="_blank">http://xboxupdates.24.tl/</a> added (TU=title update):
    old game updates list
    <b>Additions to ABGX360</b><u></u>
We suggest you use the link below and the abgx360 tool as the site does not use scene naming meaning it can be quite hard to tell entries apart, this is just for reference really (RF= region free)
    ABGX360 ( <a href="http://abgx360.net/verified.php" target="_blank">Web frontend to verified database</a> ) added:

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>Releases</b><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

Release dates can be found here: <a href="http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/" target="_blank">http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/</a> although the dates on gamefaqs seem to be slightly "off" and as usual are subject to change at the last moment.

This is mainly a catchup post but it does have a few new releases.

As an aside if possible the NFOs are being sent as unicode/some encoding that will not lose the format if possible which means we may not lose the ASCII art any more (I am far too lazy to make up picture NFOs not to mention I like text), for old ones perhaps <a href="http://shailendra88.blogspot.com/2009/02/how-to-view-nfo-files-in-firefox.html" target="_blank">http://shailendra88.blogspot.com/2009/02/h...in-firefox.html</a> is of some use.

For the new members the general layout of each game here is
    Scene release name (in bold)
Region locking information (rebooter apps can dodge region protection but they are far from available to all so such things are staying)
In previous posts wave information (if known) which is not necessary now everything can run every known game and as such will not be appearing any more.
A short writeup of the game (who made developed/published it, past history of the franchise, if I or one of mine has played it then a quick review). We invite others to comment on games and they frequently do so read their replies as there are many games/genres/franchises and so on I do not care for.
    NFO in spoilers and codebox.

Due to post size limit issues the releases are in the third post or <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showtopic=213327&view=findpost&p=2659591" target="_blank">http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showto...t&p=2659591</a>

    <!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>Useful things to know</b><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

This section aims to serve as quick intro to things that are often assumed elsewhere in these threads, it is never going to be a definitive guide so do not consider it as such.

First the current WIP GBAtemp 360 FAQ (not the same one that is stickied), it should cover most questions you might have on the 360 although it too is looking a bit out of date right now:
    <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=157263" target="_blank">http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=157263</a>
For drive hacking related questions the jungleflasher tutorial is probably the most up to date guide:
    <a href="http://jungleflasher.net/downloads.html" target="_blank">http://jungleflasher.net/downloads.html</a>

    <a href="http://pix.gbatemp.net/32303/XBOX360.Release.Standards.2007.v1.340.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://pix.gbatemp.net/32303/XBOX360.Release.Standards.2007.v1.340.png.tn.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /></a>
Click on the image and it will load up the full picture.
Some sections of the scene also use the general console release standards as well as the 360 ones. Realistically it is only the problems with the isos that you need to be worried about and even then some can be fixed (simple things like no/bad .dvd file) but we will leave it up to you to determine what you consider acceptable.

MM9 DLC as far as I've tested on different Xboxes a year ago works fine without needing to use JTagged modified files.

I will have to look into that Rockman GFF; I recall some stuff around the time of the GTA expansions about stuff happening like that.

Others reading FYK dropped a bunch of DLC for the 360 shortly after I hit post, I will probably end up including them in the next post but you

STRANGE bring us a release about a week ahead of time, the Moto GP series is usually the last word in all things simulation motorbike racing (it is not a good party game like mario kart or even MX vs ATV unless your associates happen to know the game) and this release is set to be no different. As well as racing simulation it also seems to be heading into team management simulation as well

Region locked PAL only (US release should be any day now)

Already posted by Thug4L1f3 <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=213090" target="_blank">http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=213090</a> the game is made by many of the people who had a hand in STALKER and shares many themes in common with the game. More discussion on the link posted.

Region locked PAL and Japan only (US release was in October last year as Way_Of_The_Samurai_3_USA_XBOX360_REPACK-PROTOCOL).

Sequel the PS2 series of the same name it has mixed reviews but in general fans of sword based combat can not really afford to be that picky.

    Region free.

Note also <b>Final.Fantasy.XIII.X360.FIX-Allstars</b> to fix the anydvd corruption that the initial release had. More on <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showtopic=211399" target="_blank">http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showtopic=211399</a>

The link above has a fair bit of discussion on the game but it is the latest in the main series of the long running Square (Enix) franchise Final Fantasy, it is something of a departure from previous games, combat is real time again but in another screen unlike FF12. In my opinion it will probably not do for the series was 7 did and ultimately will end up a bit like Final Fantasy 8- good idea and with many fans but not a more general following and will certainly not be dethroning FF5 or even troubling the top 5 for me. Similarly I would consider one of the many other RPGs the 360 seems to be sporting these days before it but it is by no means a bad game.

    NFO (fix and game)

Region locked PAL only. A US release and a Japanese release also exist in <b>Battlefield_Bad_Company_2_NTSC_XBOX360-CCCLX</b> and <b>Battlefield_Bad_Company_2_JPN_XBOX360-Caravan</b>

Sequel to 2008's Battlefield: Bad Company (itself an offshoot of the battlefield franchise), for most it is about the multiplayer but it does feature a surprisingly solid single player (for my money better than modern warfare 2 last year). Just remember to up the sensitivity of the controls several notches.

    Region locked US only.

A baseball game despite what the NFO thinks. Looking around it appears as though the 2K9 version was not very highly thought of and while this does well to distance itself "lacks polish" would be the general sense I get from the various reviews I read.
