Time for another 360 releases thread, if you missed the first one in the return yesterday then you can see it here:
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=179016

The aim was to bring everyone up to date with the releases from the summer so we can now get on with the smaller "daily" updates although if there was any doubt that game releases season has started this last 23 hours should dispel such thoughts.

Until otherwise requested these posts will be games with English in only and possibly the odd Japanese release if it is of note. http://www.abgx.net/filename/?ch=6 has release names and much info for those new to this 360 business, also thanks to http://www.ludibria.com for the NFOs.
Region locking still exists on the 360 although there is talk of a workaround based on some of the new homebrew and chip development but we talking earliest of earliest stages here (no proof of concept even) and it is not likely to be all that easy as, if and when it hits and even if it will be "live safe". No great worry though unless you are rocking a Japanese 360 as game releases usually fall very close together region wise these days.

Release dates for the regions concerned will be mentioned if necessary- some games come ahead of time but the retail release is obviously needed to verify said releases against. The tool AGBX360 is used to verify isos, directories and games burned to disc and can fix isos and directories if necessary but requires this data. Those who do not care about being banned from live or are willing to risk it then not much need to worry unless otherwise mentioned.

We are still recruiting people who want to post these threads up so if you want to help out have a look at:

In most recent to pre order.
Need.for.Speed.Shift.PAL.XBOX360-GLoBAL
PAL source- region locked PAL. There is a P2P release from "RAMS"- Need For Speed Shift NTSC-U(J) ONLY READNFO-RAMS that has supposedly verified under abgx360 and should work under US and Japanese region consoles, we suggest you wait for the scene release though.

Need for speed is an "arcade style" racing series with a surprisingly long heritage, this is the latest in the revamped series (underground, most wanted, carbon.....) but much like most series games from EA they are all much the same. Rarely stops it from being an entertaining distraction though.

Warning: Spoilers inside!

NHL.10.PAL.XBOX360-LoCAL and NHL_10_NTSC_XBOX360-CCCLX

CCCLX NTSC version is region locked US NTSC (No Japanese or PAL), LoCAL version supports PAL but is presently unknown for other regions.

The newest in a long line of ice hockey based games, you probably know already if you like this sort of thing.

Cloudy_With_A_Chance_Of_Meatballs_XBOX360-STRANGE
PAL source- region free.

Film tie in from a recent CGI film, I saw some trailers and it looked to be a interesting puzzle/platform game although I doubt it will stand up in the face of mini ninjas.

Warning: Spoilers inside!

WET_XBOX360-CCCLX
NTSC source USA and PAL only (no Japanese) according to ABGX but region free according to the NFO.
Finally a game I suspect many of you have been waiting for. Wet is the newest game from Bethesda softworks (best known for the Elder Scrolls series and Falllout series) and is the latest in a fairly long line of games to try and merge close quarters combat, gunplay and for want of a better term gymnastics into a game. Set to a 70s grindhouse type theme.

Warning: Spoilers inside!

Enjoy people.
