Well here's the thing Scottish people have this weird habit that really pisses me off.

Every single console ever they call a Nintendo. Doesn't matter if its PlayStation or Xbox they call it Nintendo

This is a genuine conversation I heard once between two guys

Guy 1 hey do you like to play games

Guy 2 yep

Guy 1 Nintendo or PC

Guy 2 Nintendo

Guy 2 A Sony Nintendo PlayStation 4 what about you

For me, all Americans are yanks. Kind of like how the British use the word.

Americans usually use it to mean people from New England, aka the original North (from civil war times when over half the country was barely inhabited).

Some southerners now use it to refer to anyone not from the south east (the traditional south)

As for me, I wouldn't consider myself a yank
