None of this stuff is illegal. It's all made with completely free & legal open-source software designed to be used in homebrew.
Even stock OFW supports big SD cards, you just have to manually format them to FAT32 first with something like
guiformat first.

of course, base components of a program are not illegal, a program completed? still not illegal.
a program itself is never illegal,
unless john doe has a satellite program hes trying to sell to some saudis for a billion dollars.
or its uploaded with certain bin files or bios/files that break the security and or dcma/copyright protection, which happens quite frequently.
do you think nintendo would be ok if they came here, read all the articles and seen the programs that break their products security and allows for pirated games? you think they would be like, hmm, darn we got nothing? let em live today...no suppoku...no...not today...
