Hacking 11.0.1 firmware and still no SXOS update

I have to update my SXOS firmware this week to 11.0.0 it is my spare switch but don't lose faith SXOS will eventually reveal a newer firmware update. I also gotta update my maiin switch atmosphere to 11.0.0 i have alot of research to do on the two havent used my switches in a few months!

Is there a way to remove the 'console is ready to be updated...' (to 11.0.1) message because I'm afraid one of my kids will eventually not pay attention and click 'update' instead of just run the games they launch ?
In other words, is it possible to remove the awaiting update (some files to delete or any other process) ?

reboot into the switches recovery mode (not RCM) then reboot, that will clear the pending update.

Thanks. When in recovery mode, shoud pick 'initialize console without deleting save data' or just turn the console off from there ?

Just turn the console off from there. Entering maintenance mode alone clears the pending system update notification.

So...don't follow this thread. If there's going to be an update, I doubt this thread will be the first to share the news. It would definitely be front-paged because every single SX OS update has been featured on the front-page before.

You are better off switching then waiting for a fix as it is not coming any time soon.

See, the problem is that the people running these projects specifically don't want people making or using cart backups. They push the "install" option and pretend that enabling people to install a game is at all different from enabling people to play load cart backups without installing. Maybe on the 3DS it eventually made sense for most people considering the size of the games compared to the size of SD cards, but on the Switch? No way. If SXOS never updated again you would STILL have people using it years from now unless a viable alternative came around.

Plus you have people using hard drives which Atmosphere doesn't support. I'm not one of them, since I don't own enough games to need that (yet) but for those that do it's an option they actually need.

I'm holding out hope as well, but with their sites keep going down it's not easy. Their forum was down for a few days while their download site was up, then the forum came back up for a day and now both are down. My guess is that someone is still maintaining it, but it's clearly infrequent. Like, they aren't even actively monitoring their own domains. That suggests that they are unplugged.

In addition to what others suggest, I would change DNS settings on the Switch and ALSO on the router to block Nintendo updates.

Can anyone confirm if these DNS settings still work? I asked a question about it last week, but the only response was from a troll who only responded specifically to go off topic and suggest that people shouldn't be allowed to have two different questions at the same time each with their own threads. Anyway, blocking the DNS settings should help prevent the updates if things haven't changed.

Secondary DNS: 62.210.147.20

if those are the 90dns servers then yes they should still both work

now i come back hope theres an sx os update.. but no luck
i think i have my NAND backup using sx os more than a year ago
but i am not sure..
i saw there is a backup folder in my hhd and its about 29.1gb
inside the folder there is two boot00 and boot01 bin file and 8 files full00-07 bin . can someone please help me confirm this is the backup i need to go back below fw11.01

If you have updated to 11.0.1 your old backup won't work as you will now have 14 fuses burnt which won't match with what the firmware your backup is on expects to see. Your Switch won't boot.

However, you can downgrade back to 11.0.0 which has a matching fuse count to 11.0.1. Check online for tutorials.

You can restore the backup, and should be able to boot back, however you may have burnt fuses.

I suggest migrating to atmosphere

Surely SX OS skips fuse checks. You'd still be able to boot CFW with too many burned fuses, but you wouldn't be able to boot OFW.

I have an SX OS emunand on version 11.0.0 and sysnand on 11.0.1. I want to migrate to atmosphere but i dont know how... If i boot a payload from sx os core menu it would boot on emunand and share with sx os? Is there any way to boot atmosphere in a separated emunand?
