Ok i have been toying with rcm methods for a little, i have currently added a 10k resistor across pin 10 and 1.
Might change to a reed switch in the future but testing this for now.

Currently everything seems fine, joycon is now working in wireless and docked mode fine, i can also boot into rcm every time.

No i dont know if its just me or i am being slightly paranoid, and this is not something i noticed or even tested before so could just be me?

The rumble on the right joycon seems so ever slightly less powerfull than the left, barely noticeable but as i say JUST.

Now the tekkie question is could this resistor affect this, ?

I know what your going to say, take it of and try it, just cant be narfed to strip it down again.

Did you remove/unstick the rumble motor when you opened it? That will weaken the adhesive so it won't stick as firmly and might result in a weaker rumble.

No never touched the motor, i have a tiny iron so all was easy to get to, as i say it might just be me being paranoid, like when playing mario it just feels as if the left is active more than the right, other times they both go and it feels the same.

Ok it got the better of me, i removed the resistor and tested, reattached and tested again, it seems its just my rh joyon is very slightly less buzzy than the other, so all good.
