I just acquired the Super Mario 3D land bundle and I am having trouble installing the homebrew launcher following this guide: https://plailect.github.io/Guide/homebrew-launcher-(browser)

Using the original link in that guide, I am not able to access the site because of the "system update" screen that is ALWAYS appearing. I load up the browser as fast as I can but I haven't gotten anywhere past the system update nag screen. I've used different links after looking up on Google that the browserhax site is currently down, I have tried to change the DNS and all it did was showed an error that it couldn't connect to the internet.

Any ideas?

That normal. You can format your console to remove the update nag. Then, use a browserhax mirror.
Or use that link https://plailect.github.io/Guide/homebrew-launcher-(no-browser)
to use another entrypoint.

Thank you! I've went through Google search, here, and the 3dshacks reddit page and your answer is a step closer. Would formatting the console be a safe option? I'm not looking forward to waiting for Ocarina of Time or any other physical 3ds game and a powersave to come in the mail to start the homebrew process.

Followed the instructions with using the oot3dhax method. I got to the Decrypt9 page https://plailect.github.io/Guide/decrypt9-(homebrew-launcher) , and ran into the note where I was not able to load Decrypt9 after so many times. I went to check the firmware and saw I was still on 10.7. I went back to the 9.2.0 downgrade page https://plailect.github.io/Guide/9.2.0-downgrade to try again and this time after pressing Y, there was files being installed. Then I received the error screen that this is referring to:
  1. If you get an error in the middle of installation, follow the instructions in the beginning for partial downgrades
and I was brought back to the homescreen with an error message that says "An error has occurred. Please save your data in any software currently in use, and then restart the system." The N3DS is on 9.2.0 firmware, but now I am unable to access the homebrew launcher when restarting and holding down on the d-pad. I also cannot use the oot3dhax method again as after pressing "A" in-game, it just brings it back to the homescreen with the same error.

Any guidance?

OK, so i think you have a partial downgrade firmware. Try to use browserhax, or reinstall oot3dhax with a different payload (like... the 9.2 payload). Then, redowngrade to 9.2.

edit: if you have installed oot3dhax for 10.7, its normal that it doesn't work with 9.2, you have to reinstall all those *hax for each firmware version.

That solved it. Loaded the 9.2 payload for oot3dhax and started over again with the guide and was able to finish through. Thanks for the help!
