Hacking 1) real time 2) gamespeed based on memory type

hello guys
I just bought gameboy SP at 50 bucks from circuitcity yesterday which is same as used gameboy at ebay.
anyway I'm checking couple of sutff

I`m trying to know some info based on memory type which internal memory and SD memory.

1) what kind of games are needed to real time save? and how many.

2) what kind of games get slow when it uses SD memory or micro SD memory. Is it really terrible ? pls tell me the experience you had.

I concern on gameplay like GBA, sort of emulators not other stuff like mp3 or movie things.

just get me ballpark. thanks in dvance
