Gaming 1.9g Screws up Wiikey?

I've been reading around that 1.9g will eventually screw up your wiikey, I've used 1.9g for SSBB no problems so far, but i got worried when I saw all the complaints about 1.9g and was wondering if 1.9g really does screw up your wiikey. Unless it's the updating wiikey configuration right after updating to 1.9g

No problems for me either.

I think that it was some fake rumor spread by some trolls.

Yes, I had no problems. You had to do it to enable Full Regionfree for GC games

Using a Config Disc previous than 1.3 didn't enable it
