007 'Classic Edition' unlocks Classic Conflict early

You'll also get immediate access to the "Classic Conflict" multiplayer mode, in which players will pick from eight classic characters (Jaws, Oddjob, Baron Samedi, Dr. No, Scaramanga, Red Grant, Rosa Klebb and Blofeld), respawning as a different character after each death.

Non-Classic Edition buyers will get to play Classic Conflict as well, but they'll have to unlock it by achieving level 35 in online multiplayer. And why spend all that time playing the game you bought, when you could just pay more?[/p]

Considering you also get a Classic Controller Pro (in quite ugly gold), I'd guess its more than $10 more i.e. not worth it IMO. Although I doubt that if I do get the game, I will have time to play it enough to get to level 35 online. But I probably won't even get it anyway.

My guess is there will be a slight change to a particular file on the disc. Riivolution, anyone?

I don't get it? All you get is a mode where you will randomly respawn as a different character model. THe whole idea sounds completely pointless to me.

I'm sorry, I failed to see where I stated it cannot be unlocked by getting rank 35 online.

I was stating the obvious fact that it is possible to unlock multiplayer mode with tricking the game it is unlocked. I didn't say that was the only way or it couldn't be done without spending the extra money.

If you want the classic Goldeneye, you play the classic Goldeneye.
