Can you try it with clean roms, no translation patches applied? Thing is, the people doing the patches could not have tested in dsi mode, so its possible that their patches break the game in dsi mode but not normal mode.
So far nobody has actually proven that palib homebrew does not work in dsi mode with this new compatibility layer. TC never said it wouldnt and another world only said "its said to not be supported". I'd like to hear from someone who has actually tested this. Technically speaking there shouldnt...
IIRC, the dump of My Healthy Cooking Coach (U) by SUXXORS contained valid DSi sections. That game also is known to use the camera, so seems like a good candidate for testing.
Works for me. Try moving the .sav file to your PC and then back to the microsd to resolve any file fragmentation issues - this has worked for a few people
Actually they only ever asked people to refrain from spreading BETA's around, this is a final release and thus it really makes sense to mirror, given that its considered stable.
When you install the bootstrap you are supposed to see the sudoku icon instead of the iedge icon. Just launch it, and if the OS files are on ur microsd (iedge.bin etc) then it should work fine.
How exactly do you know this? Furthermore, if it is still being patched then how come the clean ROM's work, where as they fail on all other carts that apply patches (including AK2)?
No, EDGE does not support Pokemon Wii connectivity - I have an EDGE and can confirm that it does not work. Cyclo is the only device you can buy now which has this feature.. G6 is no longer manufactured or even really supported.
If you want Wii connectivity (Pokemon etc) then your only option is to go with CycloDS - thats the only cart on the market currently which can fully support Wii connectivity
Well its not truly generic if it doesnt work with MLRPG3 is it? I've personally tested the new cyclods patcher with MLRPG3 and it works fine, so either they are using a game specific fix for this title (from what they claim, they are not) or their patcher truly is generic. I guess we'll see...
What exactly was it that you added to AKAIO? Game-specific fixes or a true generic protection patcher which should also work on future games? If its generic does it also work on "double protected" games such as the new mario RPG?
I couldnt find the "plus" version on DX, is there a separate listing or have the old 3in1 been completely phased out and replaced with the new version?
