Hacking Restoring Mii Plaza and Friend List from NAND backup without access to original system

Almost a decade ago I sold my O3DS, after doing a system transfer to a N3DS. Some time after, my N3DS had to go to Nintendo for fixing, and I lost all my saves, friend data, and progress on Mii Plaza. Recently I came across an old SD card with a backup of my 3DS at the time, however I don't...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Grats man! Yeah I'm on reddit with the same username but no need for gold, ehe. In the streetpass.conf file you can replace all "timeout 90s", more exactly the "90s" part, with the desired time between each MAC change. For example, if you want 5 minutes between each MAC change, you can replace...

Ups, sorry, the second one should be streetpass.conf. Should be fixed now, if not, this is the link for that one.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Tin_Whiskers, I've managed to solve the problem by modifying the script the third method for Ubuntu (and I assume any Debian like). I'll try to write a quick walk-through. If you have tried to use any other scripts, remove them by doing the following in a terminal window: sudo update-rc.d...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Search for Software Updates and then check the first 4 boxes like so: http://i.imgur.com/irxN95p.png To be safe, run a Terminal and do sudo apt-get update. You can also do sudo apt-get install hostapd and sudo apt-get install dnsmasq. If you want before running the script, that's what made the...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Well, it should be working fine, as I use it for wireless connections without any problem. Anything else I should be doing?

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I've got it meanwhile, thanks. That alone didn't do the trick, also had to remove the cronjob. The script doesn't seem to install properly if you don't have the extra sources in Ubuntu selected (universe and restricted), so that might be a reason why people aren't managing to get it working...

In Ubuntu, how do I remove the service? I have no need for it anymore and would like to remove it permanently from the computer.

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I want to deleted my Smash demo that I downloaded in Gateway's emuNAND. I've read I shouldn't use emuNAND's Data Management. How should I do it then?

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I have a quick question. Currently I'm only using the normal Gateway mode still in 4.5 and not in emuNAND. Will my current saves work if I created an emuNAND after? If they do, will they still work after I update the 4.5 emuNAND to 8.x? If not, will I need to wait until the 8.x version is...

    Gaming Pokémon Black/White 2 (J) |OT|

WoodR4 is working. Just disable ingame cheats and soft-reset, and AP patch. Still has the stats menu freeze but that's it.

    Homebrew Coverflow DS (New project)

Thank you for the fast answer jurassicplayer. Yes indeed it is 1.08. I'll revert back to 1.07, then. I think it's a bit counter intuitive to have two saving schemes; I'd be better to be able to use both DSCovered and WoodR4 to continue the same save, and not be bound to one or another.

    Homebrew Coverflow DS (New project)

Hi, I'm having a hard time setting this with Wood's firmware. I've downloaded the necessary files and renamed as instructed. If I load a game using DSCovered it will created a .sav, instead of using the .nds.sav. If I don't use DSCovered, the .nds.sav is used as normal.

ROM Hack Send PKM files to retail games

Hi, I've got a little problem with my current wireless setup, and maybe you guys could help. That's my setup. My main router (WPA2, 192.168.1.x DHCP range) is connected to the Internet by ADSL, my desktop (local IP 192.168.1.2). by LAN and everything else, except the DS, by wireless with WPA2...
