ROM Hack How to migrate Pokemons from FireRed with a TTDS?

Are there any DS emulators that let you load a GBA rom into a "emulated" GBA port? If there is, I guess the easiest way would be to transfer your Platinum sav from the cart to the PC, transfer all your FireRed pokemon from the FireRed rom's save file to the Platinum save file on a emulator, and...

Hardware Save file on original cart different from one made with flash cart&#33

I started playing Final Fantasy 6 Advance on an emulator and my flash cart and I was transfering the save file between PC and flash cart depending on where I wanted to play the game. Everything worked fine but eventually I bought the game and my plan was to transfer the save file from the...

Gaming Boktai's "Solar Sensor is broken" error

Sorry for bumping an old topic. Thought I'd post the message here rather than making a new thread. I just bought an original cart of this game from eBay but I'm not detecting any sunlight. I don't get any error messages saying the sensor isnt working and I know the battery's ok cuz the time...

Hacking Does an import DSI matter with a cart?

The DSi has a SD card slot and firmware updates like the PSP. Who knows, if the DSi is hacked as much as the PSP was, we might not even need a flash cart. Maybe we'll eventually be able to run roms and homebrew from the internal SD card slot.

Hacking Can I update the save file on a original cart?

I have the cable for the old EZF Advance cart which allowed me to dump my own roms and save files from original carts but I was never able to update the save file. Is this even possible? If so, how?

Hacking Post your questions about which flashcart to buy

Thanks a lot. And I guess, judging by your signature, its basically a choice between DS ONE and CycloDS.

Hacking Post your questions about which flashcart to buy

Thanks for the reply. I don't mean having to go to the site to download a software. I mean, is there anything where I dont have to run the roms through a patcher or software of some sort? I already have one of the first SuperCard SDs with a SuperKey and I hate having to run games through the...

Hacking Which Flash Card should I get out of these two?

Thanks for the replys. Another question. Is there anything the M3 lacks that any other cart might have?

Hacking Post your questions about which flashcart to buy

Is there such a thing as a slot 1 only card that has expandable memory and can run every game and homebrew by simply dragging the files onto the memory card without the use of a patching software? I don't really care about all the extra media options, just something with 100% compatibility...

Hacking Which Flash Card should I get out of these two?

Back when the GBA scene had started picking up (I think I remember it being around the time when the GBASP was released), I bought a 256m EZF Advance cart. I think it was one of the first (if not the first) carts to include a Real Time Clock. It worked great for quite a while until one day I...
