DS #4971: Love Plus + (Japan)
The handlename part is for your profile card, you can choose to either display your handle or the name you inputted. It's not like people use the term 'handle' a lot anymore these days, but it's something like a nick or screen name.- BaTa

Seems that time flies in LovePlus mode, not sure if it's an acekard+akaio only problem but meh. You can't really talk cause the menu keeps refreshing because the days flash by in seconds, also when you're in real time mode you'll lose a lot of affinity because you're neglecting your gf. Time...- BaTa

Using an US save on a JP game can bring up certain issues when used during a running gameplay. It seems quests and event flags are stored at different locations for both versions. There shouldn't be a problem if one starts a new game from the beginning though.- BaTa

ROM Hack Undubbing "The World Ends With You"
I've tried that before for fun, can't say it's stable though. Every line ingame's of by 5-10 lines cause the US version has a few hidden lines :0. Something about a hidden event that would be translated at a later time. Lazy Square-Enix translators :0- BaTa

Actually, like I mentioned in the locked thread replacing the adx files changes the voices in the "movies", *but* it doesn't change the images in the game itself. Also, what I called "movies" are basically cutins flashing around the background, playing sound files at key points. In other words...- BaTa

Actually the sound folder thing only changes the soundeffects ingame. In order to have japanese voices in the "movies" you need to replace the adx files in "NDS_UNPACK\data" aswell.- BaTa

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
