    You can get by with a standard "MSDOS" format on mac, or format the SD card in a camera. However, the Panasonic SD format makes directory listing and maybe other IO faster when used in the Acekard, at least compared to the standard mac MSDOS formats.     Sorry, don't think it is available for Mac OS. If you have an Intel Mac, you can run a virtual Windows OS using VirtualBox, VMWare Fusion or Parallels. The first one in that list is free. XP isn't. Anyway, with a virtual XP running, the Panasonic formatter works fine.

    The DSi isn't that compelling to me, but of course that's all there will be once they are fully released worldwide. I will be buying a backup DS (or two) when the time comes! I have little interest in firmware wars, especially when your firmware can be mandatorily updated without permission...

    Thanks for this release, looks like a great feature set over the "official" firmware. I have become confused by some of the AIAIO/Bliss/Official information. Is AKAIO to become official? Or Bliss?

    I don't know Bliss, and don't know the full story about why, but there is no doubt that his work will be missed - I certainly appreciated it. What Bliss has provided is a better AK interface, and I hope that the official AK team can see the community demand for this and borrow his ideas if not...

    Hacking get a kick outta this

    I ordered the 3-in-1 from Sky2k... it was 25 USD shipped to US, pretty good, but the item took 2 weeks to arrive, because (unstated on this Canadian site) it shipped from Hong Kong. Echostore.com now sells them for a shade more, and my experience with their shipping is excellent (received next day).
