Hacking My DS Lite Randomly Shuts Off!

As mattpucc says, start off with a format of your SD card (not sure how a reinstall of the firmware would help since you have used two different cards) If the format doesn't help grab a new SD card (even a dirt cheap one just for testing).

Homebrew Wifi in all homebrew fails

That's impossible to answer, you just have to make up your own mind if the risks are worth the benefits. Personally I don't bother with mac filtering, the Linux live CDs you can use for WEP cracking come with apps to fake mac addresses (then they flood the real machine off the network allow the...

Homebrew Wifi in all homebrew fails

I said (twice ) that you should turn off wireless security just for troubleshooting. Glad you got sorted. Only being able to use WEP was a concern to me as well, I ended up getting a cheap DD-WRT compatible router that I could set up as a access point, stuck it on a separate sub-net away from...

Homebrew Struggling to get a homebrew to work

glad you got sorted. Poke in the LemmingsDS settings file, you maybe able to update the "Lemmings DS Directory" setting and move the folder away somewhere else Also depending on your card you can set the 'hidden' flag on files you don't want to see.

Homebrew Struggling to get a homebrew to work

Have a try at these LemmingsDS instructions. From the error I suspect that you are not putting everything needed in the root of your card, or you are using the wrong DLDI patch. If the above doesn't work let us know what card you are using.

Homebrew Fire Card and Moon Shell

All but the highest encoded MP3 should work straight out of the box, unless the skipping is a limitation of your flash cart.
