Hacking Custom IOS38 rev 14
The only issue I've had is loading WSR through GX. I had to do the alt dol method to eventually make it work, which I never had to do in the first place. Originally I loaded a burnt copy through disc channel (have a wiikey installed) but I had already watched the compulsory M+ video initially...- Stealth1

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1

An FPGA could probably replicate the chip's functionality without buying donor parts.+1

Like not emulating the entire SNES but just a loader and the enhancement chips perhaps even slightly overclocked like FX-2
