ROM Hack Translation Kurohyou 2 (Black Panther, Yakuza PSP Spinoff) English Localisation Project

Not trying to "bump" this, but any word on the first game? I believe there was talk on social media a few months ago that it was almost done, and the TeamK4L site still has it listed to be released within 2022. We got a few weeks left, so here's hoping for a fun Christmas gift for the Yakuza...

ROM Hack Translation Kurohyou 2 (Black Panther, Yakuza PSP Spinoff) English Localisation Project

This cannot be solved at the moment. You will have to wait for a new patch to address this. The team that did this project is planning on tackling the first game to fix these issues.

Hacking Translation King's Field Additional I & II ENG translation project - looking for people with psp rom hacking skills

Posting in here offering my well wishes to such a project. You'd figure with the success of From's dark fantasy games that it would be enough to get this translated a while ago, given King's Field 1, Shadow Tower Abyss, and even a Japan-only demo that was a prologue to King's Field III all got...

Translation Kurohyō: Ryū ga Gotoku Shinshō (Yakuza Black Panther) Translation Project

I cannot add much, but I will only chime in and say the larger Yakuza community is just the best, and stuff like this is why. Do hope those involved in translating what's left of the first game (and now we might even see the second one translated?!) can occur. Wishing y'all well.

ROM Hack Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key Translation Project

Do hope you guys find a solution to the technical issues. It would be a tremendous shame if that's what paused the progress you've made.

    Hacking RELEASE Kosmos - A Hekate CFW-package

These don't sound like the same things. I need to find sig patches and correct firmware files now too? I apologize for so many posts but this stuff seems so confusing to me. I also use Atmosphere, so considering the latter of the two posts, couldn't I just be running an 8.X version of that...

    Hacking RELEASE Kosmos - A Hekate CFW-package

So, to make sure I'm not going to break my system... - Use ChoidujourNX to update while in homebrew - Update SD card and payload to current Kosmos/homebrew stuff to account for the update - Good to go That's it, right?

    Hacking RELEASE Kosmos - A Hekate CFW-package

Okay, so if I were to give an example here, I should update to 8.0 if I wanted to play anything that recently came out like Mario Maker 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3? And if I'm correct in assuming that I should do that, the best way of doing that is to install ChoiDujourNX, run that, update...

    Hacking RELEASE Kosmos - A Hekate CFW-package

I have zero interest of going online. I made the decision to hack my system after the appalling online trial period. I read in another thread that GoldLeaf is the only application that can install and bypass the 8.0 firmware update for games. Is this true? Because I'm only updating because I...

    Hacking RELEASE Kosmos - A Hekate CFW-package

I'm not, I use a jig to boot into RCM. Couldn't I update officially and use that to boot into RCM? Or was that changed too?

    Hacking RELEASE Kosmos - A Hekate CFW-package

Okay, this is what I was curious to know. So what would be the safest way to update?

    Hacking RELEASE Kosmos - A Hekate CFW-package

Pardon me for asking but I'm on the 6.X official firmware line. Is there a reason I should ever consider updating and running new Kosmos packages? Aren't there homebrew apps that allow installations without requiring firmware updates, or have things changed?

Translation Kurohyō: Ryū ga Gotoku Shinshō (Yakuza Black Panther) Translation Project

I hope the Discord thing mentioned a year ago means that this has some interest even now, with the series red hot thanks to being considered by Sega to be a PC franchise now. I also hope that having the tools to bust open this game might mean the second game, if the same people decide to work on...

Hacking [Release] The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki - Evolution Psvita

What I can gather from this thread, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but the new Vita stuff in terms of content (quests) hasn't been translated at all? Is this true for all of the Evolution translations made, or just this one?

    Homebrew RELEASE sys-netcheat - Simple open-source cheat-engine.

Hey all, pardon me if asking in this thread is an issue, but does this cheat stuff work on particular homebrew cfws, or is this for all of them? I use the Kosmos setup, so that should be Atmosphere and Hekate if that means anything.

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Can you explain what you mean by paying for SX OS? Is it something you literally have to order or get access to via a Patreon or something? I'm leaning towards Atmosphere at the moment as I am aware that some dongles are being sold with it on it, and having it on a dongle seems much easier than...

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Which is the "best" of those? Atmosphere? I'm planning on getting one of those dongles to pop into this mode with more ease, but this leaves me with a question; dongles are to boot into the mode, yes? They don't hold games or anything, that would be up to the internal memory of the system, correct?

Homebrew Has any emulator tackled trying to emulate the optical mouse for games like Slide Adventure MAGKID?

As the title says, and perhaps as a shock to some of y'all, but the DS actually released a peripheral that allowed the second/GBA slot to be used as an optical mouse. I don't believe if any other game actually used this besides Slide Adventure MAGKID, as it's often packaged with it. I'm sure a...

Sorry to bump this, but the link to the patch appears to be dead in the OP. Anybody got a backup?

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Just passing in here with a general question. I have a launch model Switch and the most recent firmware due to playing Smash Bros. Is this system hackable, and if so, what methods are available?
