    It's kind of interesting categorizing games on platforms and how things changed over time. Very few RPGs on the Atari 8bit, and very few platformers that have any sort of "offense" for the player.

    The Genesis has quite a few RPGs, and good luck finding a platformer game that isn't a metrovania.
