    DSbible 2.0

Although it doesn't have copyrighted Bibles, the Sword Project is another great way to get Bibles on your computer. The Sword Project caters for all systems, whereas E-Sword only runs on Windows natively.

My CEV has similar rules. Off the top of my head, I think you're restricted to copying up to 500 verses, but they can't make up a whole book. The total amount of verses you use can't add up to more than 50% of whatever you're using them in either.

Yeah, all the modern translations have restrictions on how much you can use. I wonder how much it would cost to get permission to use a copyrighted translation? Sites like BibleGateway have obviously got permission. It's probably gonna cost more than it's worth though.

I agree. I'm a Christian myself, but I wouldn't take offense to commercial ebooks of other religious texts. And realisticly, what kid would want to buy the Bible, Christian or not? It's a hell of a big read, especially the King James Version. Even adults have trouble understanding it. Time...

Gaming Can Doom 3 be ported to the wii?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't iD only release the source to the engine, not the whole game? Again, correct me if I'm wrong, but unless Doom III uses something similar to its prequels' WADs, I don't think a 3rd-party port will go very far. That said, I haven't played Doom III, so I'm...

Who thinks this CNET is a funny joke ?

C|Net and its partners have done lots of things bad for business. I don't think buying up a ROM news site would be their worst mistake.

    GBAtemp.net acquired by CNET Networks

I, for one, welcome our new C|Net overlords. I'm confident GBAtemp is heading in the right direction, and applaud the decision to sell out to such a wonderful company. Finally, my three favorite gaming sites are all part of one happy family.

Ah, thanks for the correction. I should learn to keep my mouth shut about things I don't know about.

    Hacking quick question about something

You can use WiFiMe, but you'll be restricted to the Nintendo DS' RAM, and it can be a pain in the ass to get WiFiMe going anyway. Your only real option is a flash card (not the R4; it's past its prime), which aren't really expensive anyway. You can get one for $50 without a transflash card.

Hacking Best card for GBA compatibility?

Yes, GBA ROMs are stored on the Slot-1 cart, after which a 3rd party homebrew program is used to copy it into the 3 in 1's NOR or SRAM, so you aren't actually running it from the Slot-1 card.

Hacking Best card for GBA compatibility?

You just said it yourself. That's the combination I use, and as far as I've seen, it's perfect. As far as I know, the CycloDS is the only flash cart other than the EZ-Flash V that automatically patches DS ROMs for rumble and Opera RAM support, but I could be wrong. However, to my knowledge...

Hacking Should i get a DS lite (already have original)

What's wrong with you people? Of course there's a good reason to get a Lite; It has roughly double the battery power of the Phatt, in order to support the extra brightness levels. We're all flash cart users here. Any smart person with a Lite would set the brightness to minimum (same level as...

    Gaming Hotel Dusk Room 215

I couldn't get into Another Code/Trace Memory either. It just seemed too childish, whereas Hotel Dusk felt a lot more serious, despite its humour. Hotel Dusk remains my favorite DS game, but there's the risk that a sequel could bastardise the original game. I think Hotel Dusk should be left...

Hacking which new DS lite has the best screen?

I've noticed that on some Lites, the 'grid' behind the touch screen is easier to see than on others, but I haven't noticed any consistency. I guess it's the luck of the draw, but you won't notice it during gameplay anyway. Whether that has anything to do with the quality, I have no idea.

    Hacking Flash Card decision help

The other guys are right. The R4 and M3 are becoming outdated. Get the DSTT if you don't have a lot of cash or the CycloDS if you do. I recommend the CycloDS personally. Great support team and regular updates. Practically perfect ROM compatibility and I haven't come across any homebrew that...

    Hacking Rominator for NDS

Rominator is great. I was just thinking that a good new feature would be to automatically copy the latest available save when you transfer a ROM to your flash cart, rather than designating one before hand. Of course, there should also be an option to disable this for those who don't like the idea.

Hacking R and L button For the DS

Gaming Problem with Pokemon Diamond on R4DS

I agree with the others. If you have issues with both ROMs and a real cartridge, it's definitely a DS problem. Surely there's somebody you can send your DS to? If it's still under warranty, can't you take it to the shop you bought it from?
