Hacking EZ Flash Jr keeps rebooting on DMG-01 and GBA-SP. It worked until some weeks ago.

I apologize for the above post, it looks like it is now working. I don't know what could have happened. Nope I used version 4 of kernel and firmware. Is the battery warning normal even with the non-beta firmware? thanks, auto btw under which voltage is the cell considered "low"? thanks,

Hacking EZ Flash Jr keeps rebooting on DMG-01 and GBA-SP. It worked until some weeks ago.

My EZ-Flash Jr cartridge always worked on all three my gameboys: GBA SP DMG-01 Gameboy color. Now it only works on the Gameboy Color and keeps rebooting on the other two units. I measured the internal battery voltage and it reads 3.03V, which should be fine. I replaced the battery...

    Hacking EZ-FLASH site migration

Thanks, I was about to post that I was pretty worried about this. I was afraid the company was dead. Cheers! BTW how can I test the beta version of the JR firmware (and what's new in it other than fixing the sorting bug)? Thanks,

Hacking Script to sort ROMS for the Ez Flash Jr

I actually did not cared about the total path name limitation of 256 characters admittedly I forgot that limitation. I echo the opinion of those asking to work around those limitations being them quite strict. Do you think there may be a way around those in any future release?

Hacking Script to sort ROMS for the Ez Flash Jr

That actually proves you wrong. You use that fat sorter (or mine) and you are still getting the same results in the cartridge. This tool splits. The sorting is unrelated and is dependent on the cartridge only. auto I guess you can't read source code, can't ya?

Hacking Script to sort ROMS for the Ez Flash Jr

I wrote a Linux script to run into the folder containing your GB or GBC ROMs. It will unzip the (eventually) zipped files, and split all the roms so that any folder will have at most nine folders or files (that's what fits the screen with the current 1.03 firmware). Everything is copied and...

Hacking Ezflash Jr firmware 1.03 sorting error

No, mate, you are totally ignorant here. The developer acknowledge that is a bug, by the way. What you are talking about is totally unrelated.

Hacking Ezflash Jr firmware 1.03 sorting error

That's totally unrelated with how the Ezflash firmware sorts the files. Thanks to the developer for caring!

Hacking Ezflash Jr firmware 1.03 sorting error

Please look at the picture. Super Mario Land II goes last. Also, sorting (in other places) is case sensitive and sorts uppercase letters always before lowercase ones. For instance "T" comes before "a". Thanks!

Hacking Ez flash Junior noise when accessing sd card

Thanks for the replies guys. I tried it on gameboy Dmg-01, gameboy color and gameboy advance-so with the same result. Will try to provide a video if my phone's microphone is sensitive enough.

Hacking Ez flash Junior noise when accessing sd card

Hello. Just got the cartridge. Other than being very slow in browsing the menus, it works great, congratulations to who designed it! I just wanted to know if the buzz noise I hear every time I access the sd card is normal. It feels odd. The cart as said above works great but that noise is...

Hacking EZFLASH Jr? New GB/GBC flash cart.

As far as I have understood this should be superior to the EDGB X5, having a Real-Time Clock. Is that correct or am I mistaken? Thanks,
