Nintendo and Sony update subscription policies in the U.K.

Unfortunately less and less common with newer games, but yeah user run servers are also awesome. I hope a lot of modern games allow users servers when the official ones inevitably die.

Nintendo and Sony update subscription policies in the U.K.

Two issues with this. Firstly, the money doesn't go to running the servers, it goes to the console manufacturer. Secondly, those same games have online with no sub fee on pc. Its just console manufacturers ripping you off, its not "paying for servers".

Nintendo and Sony update subscription policies in the U.K.

I doubt we will ever get to a point where all of gaming is sub based. Theres many devs, especially indie but sometimes AAA as well, who still release drm free games because they recognize theres a sizable audience of people who like that sort of thing and even if cloud gaming really takes off I...

Nintendo and Sony update subscription policies in the U.K.

Insane these companies are still charging for basic functions which some games are unplayable without on an additional sub fee beyond the upfront game costs. The money isn't even going to the devs who host the game servers, its just free cash for sony/microsoft/Nintendo. I moved all my online...

Elden Ring PC system requirements announced

Clicking the download button and the launch button is a real hassle. At least use a real reason like fear the RCE bug won't be fully fixed. Ps: i tried the demo on ps4, it runs like absolute garbage. Wouldnt recommend it unless its your only option. I assume ps5 is better.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond leaked online ten days prior to release

It does not. For me personally I got a black screen when loading with my diamond save and had to delete the save to boot pearl, but someone else who tested loaded their save fine.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond leaked online ten days prior to release

Hey thats my thread :) yeah as it turns out, theres only one relevant line changed between DB and SP roms, and by changing it with ipswitch you can just entirely change the version youre playing.

Hacking New NSP Doesn't Work on SX OS?

You can use fat32 or exfat with either, fat32 is recommended because exfat on switch can randomly corrupt and destroy your data. This is consistent across all cfw, nothing specific to atmosphere.

Hacking New NSP Doesn't Work on SX OS?

The file being too big issue is due to the fat32 sdcard format. Files over 4gb cannot be put on fat32 sd cards. This has nothing to do with atmosphere, the same thing would happen on sxos with a fat32 sd.

Hacking New NSP Doesn't Work on SX OS?

This makes no sense. All cfw use an emmc, the console itself has an emmc inside of it... And theres no way that can prevent you from installing a big game, unless that game exceeds your emmc storage, in which case just install to the sd card? This isnt an atmosphere problem, its a you problem...

What are your most wanted source code leaks?

Bloodborne. That game deserves so much more than being stranded on the ps4. Its a masterpiece of design that runs like absolute trash. Beyond the garbage framerate lock it also has horrible framepacing and terrible drops in some areas. The input lag is also very noticeably higher than in the...

    Homebrew Question Gldleaf nsp error.

Likely a sigpatch issue (either missing patches, you have the wrong patches, or you have a bad boot config that isnt enabling them)

Trump personally pressured Justice Department officials to declare that the election was corrupt

They must be robots then. Humans cannot be unbiased because experience by definition gives bias. That doesnt mean these reporters are bad, bias doesnt have to mean youre fox news and spread misinformation, just that you are inclined towards specific opinions.

Trump personally pressured Justice Department officials to declare that the election was corrupt

There is no such thing as unbiased reporting, period, because humans by definition have a bias.

    Covid-19 vaccine

I don't believe its contradictory because theres very large differences between these two situations. Again ill reiterate im not stating my own opinions here but rather outlining a thought process that someone could have. You could very easily argue that the government has a duty to protect...

    Covid-19 vaccine

But you're assuming here that these people were ever for the right of a business to no questions asked refuse service for any reason, which they might not be. What is the Worst Legend of Zelda Game of All Time?

I expect a lot of people (who probably have never even played the game) will say Zelda 2, but the real answer is a certain duo involving faces and wands

    US troops withdrawal from Afghanistan

Your profile says France so I was going off of your registered country. I didnt see you give a method, but ok lets say you did. Take a step back and realize that none of us understand what was/wasnt communicated with other countries or even what it is like to coordinate events like this. Theres...

    US troops withdrawal from Afghanistan

So when the US leaves the country its 'a lack of humanity and phony excuses' even though your own country left Afghanistan 9 years ago and doesnt want to spend its resources and lives helping. Sounds like we arent the selfish ones here. You dont get to complain about us leaving unless you are...
