Hacking HacDiskMount BIS Keys fail to verify

I just looked into it. One bis key is 256 bit long which is basically impossible to brute force. So now i am thinking that one byte of the tsec or sbk key was corrupted and those generate wrong bis keys. Is this a valid assumption or are the tsec and sbk defenitely correct and crc checked or...

Hacking HacDiskMount BIS Keys fail to verify

Does the switch need prodinfo to boot? If yes, then I am completely screwed because the above method wont work. Would it be at all possible to decrypt prodinfo without the bis keys? How difficult would it be to brute force the encryption? Is that even possible? By that I mean does prodinfo...

Hacking HacDiskMount BIS Keys fail to verify

Ok so i have an idea. The keys I've got from lockpick are defenitly correct, right? So what if I format system and data by mounting them via HacDisk with the bis keys which are defenitely correct but show as Fail... Would that work or does Fail mean that the bis keys wont work with some key that...

Hacking HacDiskMount BIS Keys fail to verify

Hekate version is 5.1.1. I redownloaded the latest atmosphere and hekate from their respective github pages and put the files on a completely wiped sd card. Unfortunately Lockpick_RCM still has the same errors as before. Ok thanks for the advice I will not do that then. Basically the first...

Hacking HacDiskMount BIS Keys fail to verify

Could the problem be that the latest biskeydump v9 only supports keydumps for fw 8.1.0 and lower? Since the switch has 11 burnt fuses I think the current fw version of the switch is 9.0.0+ so I would have to wait for a newer version... This would also mean that the biskeygen tool is outdated and...

Hacking HacDiskMount BIS Keys fail to verify

Yes. I have downloaded the Minimal configuration from https://sdsetup.com/console?switch which includes atmosphere and sept. @Lacius I added the error message for biskeydump to the original post. Maybe this could help, I don't really know what it means...

Hacking HacDiskMount BIS Keys fail to verify

Short Backstory: I bought a Switch from ebay with good serial. The seller told me that after an update the switch won't boot anymore(to my knowledge he didn't put cfw on it). Tutorial Internal modchip - SAMD21 (Trinket M0, Gemma M0, ItsyBitsy M0 Express) Guide, Files & Support

@pyorin wow looks very clean. I can't really find a good dev board, so I think I would also get a single atsamd21. This takes up the least amount of space. Also I love the enameled copper wire, imho thats the only option when it comes to wiring, be it modding a console or prototyping a pcb...

Hacking Question How to go back to Stock FW without working nand backul

Ok well, i got it working. Updated to 6.1.0 with ChoiDujourNX and now I can boot into stock without jig and hekate. It really was the burnt fuses, though I don't know how they got burnt... If anyone is still reading this, my very last question is: If I do a factory reset with the stock switch...

Hacking Question How to go back to Stock FW without working nand backul

Update 2: Well I know what the problem is. I have 7 burnt fuses which according to a this github gist: NintendoSystemVersionTable.csv corresponds to fw 6.0.1-6.1.0 That is why I am unable to boot into stock fw without hekate. I will now update my switch to 6.1.0 to resolve this but I am unsure...

Hacking Question How to go back to Stock FW without working nand backul

Update: I got my 4.1.0 nand backup running. I think the problem was the newer hekate version, the old version v4.9.1 restore my backup slower than the current one but I was able to boot into stock through hekate. No fuses were burnt, the problem now is, that I am unable to boot into stock fw...

Hacking Question How to go back to Stock FW without working nand backul

I go my switch about a year ago with fw version 4.1.0(I think, definitely 4.x.x). I immediately booted into hekate and made a nand backup (boot and full nand). After that I booted into cfw, installed some emulators through hbgstore and everything worked fine. After that I created a new backup...
