Hardware Need help purchasing a few parts for my computer.

There are new GeForce GTX cards out, too - non-Ti versions of the GTX 650 and 660. The 650 isn't worth looking at but the GTX 660 would be a definite upgrade for you, but at a reasonable cost. http://www.hwcompare.com/13331/geforce-gtx-460-vs-geforce-gtx-660/ I have the 650 (I was building on...

    Apple iOS 6 upgrade?

Apple Maps tells me that Solihull, a big nearby town, doesn't exist and that I have a nearby Woolworths. At what point did someone say "This is totally fine to release to the public", and just what the hell were they drinking?

    Gaming T.L o. Zelda - Master Quest: I can't beat Basil!

A few tips for beating Basil are to always stay on the inside, and never EVER use your last carrot. Go down to one, but never use the last one - you always slow right down after it and your carrots take longer to regenerate.

    Black Mesa Source Released

I am loving this so far. It's absolutely fantastic. I'm finding it, graphically, a little more demanding than HL2. I don't have a god-tier setup, so I can't always run everything on max, but I'm finding I have to turn down the settings a little lower than I can run HL2 which is weird! Still...

Just wanna know what to EAT to build a 6 pack

If you can get it where you live, buy some Garnell whey protein powder. It works, it's all the stuff your body needs for building muscle mass (whether you need to lose weight or gain weight to look fit) and none of the crap it doesn't. Just have a shake after working out; simple. Obviously you...

Hacking Why did slot 2 die out?

Slot 2 died out because the GBA died out. It had a good run, let's leave it at that.

    Gaming THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY

Ouendan was a lot more difficult, and more challenging to master, but there is much more to Theatrhythm in terms of gameplay 'meat'. There's a lot to do, many characters and combinations to use and level up to Lv. 99, and there's a few more different game modes too. Not to mention all the extra...

Comment by 'muckers' in 'Pokemon Red & Green Japanese Unboxing Video'

Thanks man. My Japanese Blue shipped a couple of days ago and should be with me any day now. :) As far as I recall, I think I got the Red for $15 and the Green for $20. The Red was from eBay, and the Green was from Play-Asia.com (hence the higher price). The Green was in much nicer condition...

Pokemon Red & Green Japanese Unboxing Video

So after completing my collection of English-language Pokemon games, I decided to make a start on the Japanese editions. I figure I'll start with the originals so snagged a great deal on both Red and Green on eBay a couple of weeks ago. After a painful wait due to my impatience, they finally...

To be honest, you can get this game really cheap now - probably for about the same money as a flash cart! I got mine for under £20 (less than $30). Have only played the first couple of missions so far, but I'm loving it. It's very remensicent of FF: Tactics on the GBA - anyone remember that...

Gaming New Super Mario Bros 2 $70 on eshop in AUS/NZ?

Valve do it all the time with steam. inb4 'It's only old games'. Last year the 'Valve Pack', which contained every Valve game ever made including the just-released Portal 2, was on Steam for £25. I know that was a sale price, but even the regular prices are ridiculously cheaper than physical...

    Gaming ShopTo.net bargains - Theatrhythm £16, Mario Tennis £20

Oh damn, if only I'd have held off! I bought Theatrhythm from ShopTo a week ago for 20 quid. Ah well, the deal for Mario Tennis is pretty great, so I'll grab that instead. On the subject of GAME, sometimes you find only the new version is discounted for a limited time, so you end up with the...

Gamestop may be interested in buying 291 GAME shops

More rumours, that's good. Wasn't the bullshit Express story 'from sources close to GAME' as well, and the company's MD went called it out specifically in conference calls? Let's wait and see what the company themselves say first.

Gamestop may be interested in buying 291 GAME shops

I'm citing a conference call my manager had with Tom Devine, the company's DM, who said the company isn't even contemplating total closure a little bit. Does my source win? :P Why doesn't that mean anything? It means half of all launch period Vita's sold were sold in a GAME or a Gamestation...

Gamestop may be interested in buying 291 GAME shops

The company have done this for years. It's a process called mint-to-preowned. Basically, old stuff (or potentially stuff which may have damaged packaging from sitting around for far too long) gets 'turned into' pre-owned stuff so it can be sold at a lower price just to shift it. A buy-out is...

    Rumor:Wii U to be priced at $299

I wouldn't pay more than £250 to be an early adopter. If it launches with an original Zelda game and a couple of decent 3rd party titles, I'd probably go up to £300. But I love me some Zelda and would jump at the chance to play it in true 1080p as soon as humanly possible.
