What version of Bomberman is the best?

My favorites: Bomberman Online: Dreamcast Saturn Bomberman: Saturn Bomberman Live: Xbox 360 Bomberman Generations: Gamecube Bomberman Jetters: Gamecube/PS2 Bomberman Live gets the most play, since playing online rocks.

    Hacking MIDIPad DS

Sweet, it's nice to see more MIDI apps showing up, thanks! I'll give you 5 extra cool points if you add another CC using pressure sensitivity (like Colors)

Kanye is Tetsuo And Hes Over Daft Punk!!!

I'm less impressed with them after seeing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJPdVVOmbz4 They got permission, but damn those are some big chunks they've sampled.

    DS-Xtreme firmware 1.1.2 released

It'll probably take them another 6 months to fix existing or new bugs in 1.1.2 I'd like to see them add some features, and maybe get a programmer that knows what the fuck they're doing to speed up the loading/searching.

So this is the iPhone, eh?

I'll buy one of these in a heartbeat once they drop that stupid 2 year contract nonsense, and drop the price to < $500, if it has decent CPU/RAM specs. I'd love to use something like this for voip, web browsing, various touch screen "remote control" type of apps (multi-touch will be great), and...

    DS-Xtreme "Qkin" Bug Fixed

They're talking about the promised MacOS/Linux firmware updaters, which have yet to be released, and it has been over 3 months. Sure, one could run over to a friends house or something and run the Windows updater, but that's not really the issue.. they've billed ds-x as multi-platform from the...

    NitroTracker v0.3

In this case MIDI support means you can send MIDI note on/off data to external devices (or software), basically, you can use Nitrotracker as a MIDI sequencer now. I don't think you can import existing MIDI data, but that would be a good feature request! We'll definately see more than note...

    Compression Tools

It should be very close if you've really created a solid archive, it just doesn't sound like you have. I generally compress with a command line like this: 7z a -t7z -m0=lzma -mx=9 -mlc=8 -mfb=64 -md=8m -ms=on archive.7z files* -ms=on is the important part for this kind of data.

    Compression Tools

You want to create a "solid" archive, 7zip and rar can do this, but not zip.

I have to say I'm rather disappointed with this.. fortunately it looks like every audio sample is in a seperate files, it might be fun to try loading some higher quality samples, as we aren't limited as much in size.

    Hacking Slot-1 solution battery life

Which slot a device runs in is basically irrelevant, as what's more important is the power consumption of the various electrical components used inside the cart itself. Most carts, wether using slot 1 or 2, use low power components. LCD brightness, audio, and WIFI are much more likely to cause...

Hacking When Slot-1 cards take over, will FlashMe die out?

It won't die out, it's still useful for removing the health screen, and recovering from firmware destroying code.

    ^^ndstitle-1392^^

ah, I doubt it would actually do much of anything if you tried to run it.. but I'd still love to take a look at a dump, if you can do it.

    ^^ndstitle-1392^^

I assume you mean the firmware? If you can dump 1.0.1, please share The 1.0.2 firmware binary can be downloaded here: http://update.ds-xtreme.com/update/update.bin

    Hacking DS-X back in stock

The difference between THDJ and AC, is that AC was already working on the DS-Xtreme before the latest firmware update. They broke compatibility themselves, and gave no possible way to downgrade to the previously working firmware (which several requested). Why can't they release a downgrader...

    Hacking DS-X back in stock

Hey be nice, I mean it's only been a little over a month since they've been made aware of the AC problem, I'm sure we'll see a fix sometime next year. Just look at those LEDs though! those have got to be worth $130 right there!

    ^^ndstitle-1346^^

Terrible, terrible game (IMHO, of course) I did however notice something interesting packed inside the .nds, since I'm nosey I like to extract with ndstool and poke around a bit.. There's a file called "stuff.dau", it's an encrypted RAR file.. what the heck is an encrypted RAR doing in DS...
