    Hacking Is there a way to preview/see the psn avatars (edat files) on pc?

    Browsing through like 2000 avatars using the console's "avatar selector" is just a PITA, takes a lot of time to load and u cant even change the order so u gotta go through the whole thing to find the avatar ure looking for. If there's a way to preview them on pc then it would be a big time saver...

    welp did u try? did it work?..if it actually works the DLC's data should be installed within the game's folder under "dev_hdd0/game" with it's edat files. if not then the data will be separated in it's own folder i suppose.

    Same thing happened to me..seems like the patch isnt compatible with the iso format. Just get the the psn version of the game and then do the same process it should work like it did for me. (Havent tried this just thought about it now but its worth a try) Instead of just doing the process...

    first of all this will not work on HAN since it requires homebrew apps. starting with act.dat : you need multiMAN (which i recommend) or any other homebrew app that allows you to manage the system's files. (FTP works as well) enter the file manager and go under dev_hdd0/home/000000xx/exdata/...

    thx for the reply im on CFW i need those files to resign my games (pkg format)..i found the act.dat but now dunno how to get the idps.hex ps3xploit tools just dont work for me the system freezes everytime i try one..guess cuz im not on HFW what did u mean by now the files are compatible with the...

    thx for the tutorial. i had a problem the FTP upload speed was too slow a guy on reddit recommended this method to me. i did everything as said in the article and successfully Grabbed the ip but i'm still stuck with the same speed as before (which is 1-2mb/s maximum) i dunno why this happens...

    do u mean by running ofw giving up on cfw?(start using the han/hen thing) or just disabling it? indeed the risk is always present but normally to lower the chances u use a bunch of tools..and for modding u edit the eboot file. in this case (as i think) it depends on how the eboot.bin works tho...
