Homebrew WIP USB TO SD File Copier...For SX OS

Hey any update on releasing the source? I am working on a library for accessing a USB drive and want to test by linking my code against a program that I already know works with libusbfs.

Homebrew Question Using retroarch on usb

I'm working on it. However it will not happen until at least the next libnx release, since the actual hooks to use the switch as a usb host only just got added into the development branch. I think it might technically be possible on SX OS though.

    Homebrew WIP Nx-USB

Oh cool! Definitely going to start using this. Anyway, now that I finally reached the ten-post barrier and can actually include the links to my homebrews, you can now find the repository and releases links in the OP; the version posted at the moment is a basic PoC, but should technically be...

Homebrew Question Changing SD card without powering off

While not exactly the same, you can use NX-USB to move files between a computer and Switch via usb cable or ftpd to do it via WiFi. Of course neither of these are as fast or easy as just popping out the card as if it was a game card, but it's the best we got rn.

Homebrew WIP USB TO SD File Copier...For SX OS

Any possibility of releasing the source of this? I'm really curious how SXOS deals with the USB device and am looking for anything at this point to give me a hint.

Main Repo: WILL ADD ONCE GBATEMP LETS ME POST LINKS Template: WILL ADD ONCE GBATEMP LETS ME POST LINKS What is this? A project that allows for homebrew development on the Switch using the Rust programming language and standard library. Why? Because I liked Rust and wanted to be able to use...

Homebrew Question when will we be able to load NSP from USB disk. outside of SXOS

I don't know anything about XCIs or NSPs, but I've personally been looking in to different ways of having the Switch "talk" to things over USB for Nx-USB. However, somehow getting the Switch to be able to act as a computer to talk to a USB drive is not just difficult, it is more difficult than...

    Homebrew WIP Nx-USB

I've never heard of xbins-- is that an alternative app store repo? Either way, there's already an alpha release posted on the Github -- I just can't link it here yet because of my GBAtemp account status.

    Homebrew WIP Nx-USB

In theory if you are not doing anything weird like going out of your way to overwrite the NAND or anything like that it should not be possible to brick. In practice this thing is completely untested so who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. auto Thanks! From what I understand I can't post links until I hit 10...

    Homebrew WIP Nx-USB

To be honest, I don't know the first think about KIP implementation. Not to mention the entire thing is written in Rust using the normal Standard Library, which assumes a whole lot of things that I don't know if a kip is allowed to assume.

    Homebrew WIP Nx-USB

Yup. The Switch component is just an NRO. I specifically made this to push homebrew builds to the Switch without WiFi or rebooting.

    Homebrew WIP Nx-USB

Huh; seems GBAtemp isn't letting me post the repo right now. Weird. Should be easy to find if you search for ischeinkman/Nx-USB on Github though.
