Hacking A bit desperate: Lost all CFW icons in Home and can't install anything

Darn, that's scary. And I really didn't have any time to even play much or even making saves in the first place T.T But anyway, thank you all very much, guys!

Hacking A bit desperate: Lost all CFW icons in Home and can't install anything

I don't mind the saves. I have barely played 3DS games. I bought the console a week or so ago, and I've mostly been playing DS games with DSiMenu++, so I already have the .sav files.

Hacking A bit desperate: Lost all CFW icons in Home and can't install anything

There we go! That's the answer I was looking for! Everywhere I looked they treat the "Nintendo 3DS" folder like a god, so I was even afraid to look at it. The solution was as simple as this! Thank you very much, sir! Oh, btw, should I delete the old Nintendo 3DS folder, since this has worked?

But if everything I've tried so far hasn't worked and it seems like it's a problem with the installed stuff, wouldn't it be better to re-install everything from the very beginning? Just asking

I restored the SysNAND backup I made when I first hacked the console, like a week or so ago, and it didn't solve the problem. Also, when I entered the eShop by mistake, it popped a message in the screen saying something like "The sector of the SD Card dedicated to saving programs is corrupted"...

It didn't work. Do you think that un-hacking the 2DS following this guide and re-hacking it would solve it? I don't mind losing the saves or stuff like that, so if that's an option, I'll take it.

Hacking A bit desperate: Lost all CFW icons in Home and can't install anything

No no, I mean if there's anything else other than the "Shared icon" cache and the "HOME Menu icon" cache. I don't see anything else related to cache in the Cthulhu menu

So I should clear the Shared icon cache and the HOME Menu icon cache only or is there something else I'm missing?

Aand... nothing. Same error. I found that trying to install something creates the ticket of the game/app in red in the "Tickets" section, just like I said in the original post.

What would that mean and what would I have to do to fix it?

So, I formatted the SD Card, passed the test, and it found no errors. Reinserted everything, and it didn't work. Trying with a completely different card doesn't change anything, either Mind you, I can access everything in the SD Card with the console, for instance, with FBI. I can see all the...

I'll try what zacchi4k said and if that doesn't work, I'll try using another SD Card

Hacking A bit desperate: Lost all CFW icons in Home and can't install anything

So, I got my New 2DS a week ago or so. I installed CFW using the Seedminer method following the 3ds.hacks.guide guide, of course, and it's been working perfectly until yesterday. I pulled out the SD Card to paste in a couple games (didn't touch anything else, I only pasted the games inside my...

Hacking 3DS NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

The test finished with no errors, so I guess I'll have to try this. Also, I just remembered. The last thing I did was install the mGBA CIA from the titleDB in FBI. Not sure if that's got something to do.

It's alright, I don't mind starting from scratch as long as everything works fine from now on. Any guide to doing the CTR Transfer?

That... is not even remotely what I asked. The H2Testw is not a problem right now. What I'm wondering is, say the SD Card comes out alright, and detects no problems. I'd still be in the same position where I started. Would I need to clean the SD Card and follow the Finalizing Setup part again...

If the SD Card happens to be perfectly fine and no errors show up on the H2Testw -which is still running as we talk-, would I need to clean the SD Card and follow the Finalizing Setup part again? And I wouldn't need to copy the "Nintendo 3DS" folder back, right?

But you said I'd have to copy the content from the old one to the new one. Then, I'd be copying what I have already installed to the new one, as well. If I were to install something again, I'd be installing it twice, wouldn't I?
