Homebrew Looking for Pokemon Dream World's .swf files

Looking for it here will likely be looking for a needle in a haystack. I highly recommend visit the Serebii or Bulbagarden forums, you're gonna a lot more people there who may either have what you are looking for or would be inrerested in helping you search. Personally, I'd be very excited to...

Homebrew {Request} Can someone look into the FLOG Emulator? [Updated]

So I guess that's a wrap then? The likelyhood of any other methods being found is low, good work I guess?

I'm totally in agreement with you that the trigger is the waking motion of the joycons, it makes a lot of sense

Homebrew {Request} Can someone look into the FLOG Emulator? [Updated]

I just don't believe that this will work, there's still another method to be discovered. I'm calling it now

That's actually fairly surprising, the system likely leaves battery left to keep the console alive for a while. That being said it'll be impossible to drain that too, they recharge themselves too!

Good luck draining a RTC battery, those things can last for years.

There's pictures and videos of it running but absolutely no footage of the 'action' needed to load it on unhacked, retail units

I just don't believe thay the source is real, like we haven't actually seen it performed on a 1.0 console yet, heck the other day Plutoo was telling is that the X button was a trigger! Don't go tearing apart your switch yet.

Probably, plus OP was using the grip so it probably isn't neccesary.

Probably a good idea to put your joycons in the strap attachment so you don't happen to fling your joycon into a wall like I just did

I was thinking the exact same, what backs it up is the fact that both the Home Menu and the Flog file are both under 'qstart' in the system file and there isn't much else in it really so I'm inclined to agree with you on this. It could have easily launched the news app or something else instead.

The animation played when opening the controller menu displays the Y and B buttons being pressed as well as the control stick while the controller shakes.

Homebrew {Request} Can someone look into the FLOG Emulator? [Updated]

Pardon my newness to the forum, do you recall for how long it was docked prior to the emulator loading? Splatoon has been known to behave strangely when the system has been docked for too long or starts to overheat. Since the home-menu and the 'flog' file are both in qstart it's possible that...

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
