Homebrew What are the best emulators for NES and SNES on the 3DS?

Picodrive does SegaCD, too, though none of the pair actually reaches fullspeed, in my experience. I haven't tried the newly released picodrive 3ds port for SegaCD games, though.

You're in retroarch's settings screen, not the core's settings screen. Core settings are found within the quick menu.

ROM Hack [Release] Ultimate GBA VC Injector for 3DS

Dear Asdolo, I'd love to beta test the new version of your injector. I have worked to get the other F-Zero gba games to my liking, but Climax always had me stumped. P.S. I recommend that the ghosting options be changed to something like: Option 1: no ghosting (FF) Option 2: little ghosting...

you don't need the retroarch.cia at all. It's just a forwarder which causes a lot of confusion.

Actually, it has. Some long-standing bugs have been fixed. Vertically oriented games now work, snes emulation is better, there's a longer list of support games and other fixes in fba2012. There's a limit to what you can get out of a system, no matter how much you optimize it. The people hoping...

Your assumptions are a bit off there. The beauty of retroarch (libretro, actually) is that the cores aren't ported. They use the same codebase for all releases of the same core. That is to say, the nestopia core that runs on the 3ds is compiled from exactly the same code as the nestopia core for...

I'm glad you comment on the point. I'll be happy to update if I have a guarantee that the current cia format releases/nightlies work appropriately in the newest luma. Can you confirm if this is the case? auto It's very easy to get cps2 games working, you want to look for a website in french...

@gunghir I just thought to say MvsC because I love it, but arcade games from the 90s in general run pretty great on the fba2012 core (except for konami games). Pretty much all of the capcom and neogeo games are fair game, also many games by Cave. Metal Slug, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Dodonpachi...

it's perhaps possible, but it's also possible to find some pre-injected stuff around and mass d/l that instead of rolling your own p.s. if you like Marvel vs Capcom, be sure to give it a try on the fba2012 core, it runs superbly

@ gunghir I get fullspeed on the following cores: - nestopia - fceumm - fba2012 (some games are not fullspeed, but cps1&2 as well as neogeo are) - picodrive - mednafen_pce_fast (i've had a tad of slowdown during the voice samples on Chase H.Q. but everything else is fullspeed, try devil's...

I'm on a n3ds running A9LH w/Luma 7.x, I'm also the guy who fixed the vertical orientation mirroring bug as well as the performance regression on the recent RA 3ds versions. As of 1.6.6, the fbalpha2012 cores work great on my device (I don't expect 1.6.7 to introduce any crashes on my end...

Just to let people know, the problem with mirrored images in vertically oriented games has been fixed (for well over a month by now). It was fixed by PR 5054. Screen rotation doesn't work yet, but that's a different problem.
