@Pyra hi, it isn't dangerous. that is often one of the first attempts to look out, before changing any other files or methods to recover or restoring or whatever.- nillesguidetips

Hi :) PLEASE delete all contents in the "Nintendo 3DS" folder and then try again, with SD card inserted. what does happen? edit: instead backing up data, it would be better- nillesguidetips

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
