    hi ive done everything in the guide and all seems fine but when i put card into 3ds i cant get the game to show up , ive done everything what i can see on here , not sure whether this is worth knowing but its the 3dxl and the version is 11.3.0-36e , any help would be great guys

    Hacking R4 3DS RTS

    hi all ive recentley brought my kids the 3ds xl , the version is 11.2.0-35E and i brought the R4 3DS RTS card , ive downloaded the latest software for it but all i get is the bomberland logo at start and then when i go into it the games show without no pictures next to them and the screen...

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs

    I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
