    The 3ds should turn on normally with just the cable plugged. If you make the hardmod with an external connection (micro usb or other) and the 3ds turn on normally without your frankenSD I recommend you to recheck your frankenSD soldering.

    the image I post before your post has all the dat lines at both sides of the n3dsxl and frankenSD :D thx, i'm at work now, so i will check that board (i didn't touch it with the hardmod) and the flex that connects both boards asap
