Hardware Don't use cheap microSD cards. Buy a decent name brand one.

512GB is pretty new, 256GB and 128GB were around that price when they came out too, and now Sandisk's 1TB is at $450, the price for a 512GB will drop sooner or later.

Hacking Found Cyclo DSi Evo at thrift store, trying to make it work

Unfortunately CycloDS disappeared a long time ago and dropped all support for its cards, it has no firmware that would support the modern DSi or 3DS versions. You can still use it on a hacked console or an DS/DSL though of course. Despite its age it's still pretty sought after for its...

Hardware Don't use cheap microSD cards. Buy a decent name brand one.

samsung is like the cheapest and it has worked perfectly for me so far, on 3ds and switch, with switch being formatted as exFAT(lots of people say to use FAT32 but I've had no issues. If they have no brand name and are over 32gb(or probably even like 4) they are definitely fake.

Hardware [Mockup] Switch 2 and the future of the Switch

Nintendo is obviously trying to move in a new direction with the switch, most of this is just stuff from old consoles, and a lot only used for smash. They won't change the design of their joy-cons just to enable light-shields, which would be used by a very small audience anyway.

Just a comment for anyone viewing this thread in the future, I believe flipnote studio is stock on all xl/lls, if it is deleted, do a factory reset. Never mind. -"Iwata Asks" Interview 4, Chapter 5 on the old dsi website since I cant post links.

Homebrew Question Is my Switch Bricked? Need help with it

Well if the nand backup you restored had autoRCM off, then when you restore it, it will revert to that setting. So if it is a possibility that you had autoRCM off when you made the backup, it might not be in RCM, and if the backup was an earlier version and you have burnt fuses or something else...

what happens if you type the command "java -jar <path to jar file>" auto I had the same problem, it was a permissions issue for me, to fix it I did the following: extract the jar file chmod u+x make_cia compress the files back into a jar file (its just a zip file renamed to .jar)

Homebrew Could it be possible a "nintendont" for the 3ds?

If something like this were to be done, I'm pretty sure it would still be limited to using ARM7 and ARM9, otherwise instructions from a ROM would need to be translated for the PICA200, which would be hard and likely have poor results. I think if TWL_FIRM was modified correctly then you could...
