    Hacking Help! Anyway to downgrade R4 firmware?

    I got another R4 which can run the updater. I tried running with my dsi but the "Erasing Device" part completed instantly and although the "Programing...." part ran like it normaly would there were no changes to the R4 firmware. Guess I'll try with the DSLite.

    Thanks for the reply. I tried using a hex editor to edit the updater but all I get are strange characters. The only part in english is the text of the UI like "Firmware update. Upgrade version: ...". What if I get a DSLite, would the card swap trick work?

    after it's open, its a bit slower too at loading pages, but not as noticeable as the initial startup and homepage loading
