Hacking Incoming Wii U update 5.5.2

So instead of doing this whole Haxchi method....is there a way I can play online without having to update to 5.5.2? The current dns blocker use blocks nintendo forced updates, but I can still get on YouTube, if that helps anything. Wondering if I may be using another type of dns

Hacking Incoming Wii U update 5.5.2

Hi. Bit of a newbee here too. I have a ton of games installed on usb hard drive. Successfully blocked the 5.5.2 update, so still on 5.5.1 but I can't seem to be able to play online. I've already tried Smash and Mario Maker and said an update is required. So if I install this Haxchi will i be...

    Homebrew Official HID to VPAD

Does anyone on here know if it's possible to use hid to vpad then load Smash 4 mods through SD Caffeine? I've tried it but it seems to cancel out which mod I start up 1st. So I launch hid to dpad, then launch the sdcaffine launcher from homebrew. It eithr freezes or causes the controller to not...

    Hacking [RELEASE] Auto MTB Fixer!

Whoops...yeah there was a incorrectly named nus3bank file in Pit's sound folder...and that seemed to be the only problem. I got it working fine now! :) ....to be fair I used a unpacked mod pack to start off my own modpack. I had no idea Pit had a soundfile since I never used him...or modded him...

    Hacking [RELEASE] Auto MTB Fixer!

Been having a problem with this script too. After I ran it a lot of my custom voices went silent. They all worked before though. I've checked to make sure every file is named correctly, and even tried extracting a new figthermodelbanktable.mtb file and adding it to the workspace folder. Nothing...

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    That sounds really cool
