    You can turn off instantly after saving in game, because the save file is stored on the Everdrive own memory. It doesn't have any delays. Your current savefile will only be backed to the microSD when you load a new diferent game rom.

    It's really weird, because some sellers on Aliexpress had 2 differents listing for EZ Flash Jr. One looks like just a EDGB chinese clone in EZ case and the other looks legit if the pictures are true, however both listings are cheaper than the sale price of official resellers on EZ Flash site...

    Very nice work. The clampshell design of Nintendo DS / 3DS makes them a hell to repair. I already have trouble with 2 NDS lites, that I could never repair. I am thinking seriously in getting a 2DS just because of this. lol

    Gamecube isn't easily hacked as an old Wii or even the Wii U in Wii mode. Besides with Nintendont you can do crazy stuff, like wireless controllers and some tweaking on video options.

    VBA can't handle saves properly. At least in my experience, it always break the save games when I used them in flashcards. mGBA is a lot better and all the saves work like a charm between emulator and flashcard or the other way around.

    What kind of Gameboy cart? Classic Gameboy, Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advance? Boktai games natively uses a 2025 battery. I still have some batteries laying around from when I changed mine. I can't say about other games, but I think you can't go wrong with either.

    In theory, it seems interesting. However I think maybe there will be some issues, like battery life and heating maybe. Even with 6120mAh, when you have a pc game running on this in QHD it will eat a lot of energy. Besides, the dual boot will make updates hard.

    I just like the fact that games in the past used more 2D graphics. You don't usually see 2D games nowadays on consoles, unless it's indie.     I would recommend geting some J-RPGs on Steam, like the Final Fantasy ports, I am Setsuna and The Legend of Heroes. Besides, GOG has some very nice classic gems without DRM.

    Best way to solder the button cell batteries on a GB Pokemon cart?

    Maybe, it would be easier for you to solder a battery holder on your cart, so you just have to pop up the battery to change it like the Everdrives. I was thinking about doing this for my Boktai games.
