    It seems like my switch bricked trying to load up RCM mode using the NX Loader app. Anyone have any idea if it's truly bricked or just something I don't understand. It's worked beforehand.

    Aaaaand done! Old beaten up 3ds works again as before. :) Now is Emunand on boot wanted or is it necessary? In luma config. It seems necessary, don't know why it's not in the tutorial.

    Trying not to assume it. Just worrying getting to me. By payloads, do you mean decrypt9 and hourglass9 and such by holding down buttons? I can try. ... Looks like Decrypt9 works. ... Emunand9 works. .. Don't remember the button presses for others. It's been over a year.

    Sounds promising, it's the most progress i've made so far figuring this out. But the pictures i've seen, the DSI display seems to use a flat ribbon cable rather than this connector. If that really is it, though, the tough part is still figuring out what each pin is what.

    So, if anyone's seen the max play adapter, it's used for car cigar plug 12v to the WiiU's 15V (I think 6 amps?) DC.
