N64 ones can be unpacked with CaVE Database Manager.
When CaVE Database Manager is in N64 mode, there is an option to unpack .dtz and .binz files.
The game will be in binz files, when unpacked, it will turn into a .bin file that should be able to run on an emulator.
About GBA, I haven't seen...
I do not think I ever updated my case, what fixed it for me was replacing this board. Just sharing my experience here in case it could help someone else.
Unless you like, travel a whole lot, and play games at almost every place or something, then *maybe*...
And I still don't recommend it, and reselling it is a pain. Still stuck with some Lites.
It's been quite a while since I had those, but I think that's correct, Generation 4 games have to be legit for transfer.
I think I remember using Generation 5 games with the transfer feature, transferring Pokémon from my HeartGold game.
