    Hmm that's pretty good speculation for >16MB games. And yes I'm using the patched agb_firm with the splash screen (because nostalgia lol). I guess i might as well try the patched agb_firm without the splash screen i guess.

    if i recall, wasn't that also the time when people kept reporting their 3ds crashing after attempting to open street pass mii plaza? can't the same principle follow on other people street passes if they were to receive a software that can't be recognized?

    Sounds reasonable. I don't even know why i was even concerned in the first place tbh. But it would suck to find out one day if our online services were shut down because of this 'Recently Played' reason (which would probably be extremly to almost impossible to happen i guess).     1. Downgrade N3ds to 9.2 2. Create an emunand on downgraded N3ds 3. Unlink NANDs 4. Update emuNAND to 10.6 5. Proceed with system transfer in system settings Use the search function for said steps.

    anyone know if this affects local play if we switch our wifi on (o3ds), like does the nag notification show up? i didn't bother downgrading my brother's 3ds (9.9), and i am in no place to downgrade or if it soft bricks upgrading to the most recent firmware. but we have local play games...

    Wasn't a clean downgrade unfortunately. Method would be update, then try again. But unfortunately 10.4 is out now... So unless you have a hardmod ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
