    You definitely did not download the special edition because, as I said earlier, the special edition was never released on the eshop. You either have birthright or conquest, and need to select your version accordingly.

    you can't get the special edition through freeshop since it's a cart only thing. You have to get a .cia from that cia site.

    Sure you can, if you manually rebuild the .cia (which will break online compatibility). Easiest method is just using NTR though.

    You probably have "hide known extensions" turned on in windows' folder options. So file names are what... files are called. I'm not quite sure how to explain this another way. It's probably easier for you to just use NTR rather than HANS.

    There's two plugins for Fates going around. The one built with gateshark doesn't have the all buildings code. This one, however, needs to be accessed through the X+Y menu and does have the all buildings code.

    you install NTR Selector, put the plugin in /plugins/[titleID for your version of Fates]/ Then press X+Y in game.

    Quick question. The Lucina my castle dialogue. I'm not getting it. Using 4.2 with NTR, as well as the revelations buff patch. I decompressed the gay fates gamedata.bin.lz, applied the revelations buff ips patch, and recompressed. Any ideas in this regard?

    If you have a 2ds then follow plailect's guide to set up a9lh on the 2ds. You can subsequently use a system transfer and DSiWare downgrade to hack your 3ds. No cost at all, besides the $10AUD or so it'll cost to buy the exploitable DSiWare game.

    Make sure you have a config file, which was my problem! I had forgotten to specify the frame rate at which the animation should be played. Stupid mistake, but one easy enough to fix.

    Can you go into more detail about using winrar with a japanese locale? I have the NA version of fates, and I have an @E folder, though, curiously, no @U folder. I created one and copied (not cut) the files in @E over. Most seem uncorrupted, though there are a few filenames in english. See here:
