Everything about the remote works. All of the buttons work, except to bring up that one menu. I tried 2 different wiimotes. Tapping the power button does nothing. Holding the power button turns the Wii off. I tried syncing again, because it doesn't hurt, but it still won't react to the power...- chris.arney

I've got a Wii running 4.3U. I had modded it a couple years ago, but hadn't done much with it. I couldn't remember what exploit I used, etc, and saw that modmii would handle everything. I went through, and selected the defaults for everything. I've installed the HBC, patched IOS236 (using IOS236...- chris.arney

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
