Homebrew Can't get ips patch for Pokemon Prism working

Hi all, I made a custom CIA of Pokemon Prism with Ultimate GBC VC Injector for 3DS and I'm trying to apply an ips patch to it but for some reason I can't get it to work.. I've place the patch on the SD as "luma/titles/000400000072FF00/code.ips", I got the id through FBI as it is a custom made...

Hacking Noob here: Old 3DS on 6.2.0-12E, now what?

So there's no need to update to 11.x? Will that affect game compatibility?

Hacking Noob here: Old 3DS on 6.2.0-12E, now what?

Hi everyone, overwhelmed noob here! I bought an old 3DS on 6.2.0-12E with a R4 SDHC Gold Pro 2015 flash card yesterday. I'd like to get on the whole cfw train but I'm a little overwhelmed by all the information available. I've done some reading and had a look at some guides like...

Hardware Installed hardmod O3DS, powers on then shuts down with "click" sound..

The reason I'm asking is that when I was reassembling the console for the first time after installing the mod, I had a lot of trouble reinserting one of the wide ribbons coming from the top. That would be either the screen or the screen or the speaker right? How easily do these break?

Hardware Installed hardmod O3DS, powers on then shuts down with "click" sound..

Ok, had a feeling that would be the case. Last question though, what if I've made absolutely sure that all the ribbons are all installed correctly and the problem persists. What would be the next step?

Hardware Installed hardmod O3DS, powers on then shuts down with "click" sound..

So I just attempted to install a hardmod on my o3ds, which diddn't seem that hard to do. I thought everything went just fine however when I reassembled the console and tried powering it on. I was pretty sure I'd done everything correctly but the 3ds powers on and then just down after about 3...

Hacking Old 3DS, 4.4.0-0E unmodified/no hax installed, What can be done?

So I checked if the R4 worked and to my unsurprised disappointment, it didn't. It wouldn't even come up on an old DSLite I have lying around. I guess I should purchase a different card then. Is there a record of which cards work with which firmware?

Hacking Old 3DS, 4.4.0-0E unmodified/no hax installed, What can be done?

Hmm.. I had a feeling that was going to be the answer. Well thanks for clearing that up for me Apache Thunder! I do have an old R4 DS flashcard that works with the older DS models, would that work? If so, how would one manually download the browser? Also, how do I manually update to 9.2...
