    There is no easy/safe way but I have heard users who would inject the save into their clean nand and play online from that. Assuming you're not running an illegal copy of the game, you would probably be okay.

    I added a few authors to the post. Hopefully a mod can clean up some of the garbage in here. 51 pages and probably 4 of those actually hold meaningful content.

    BCAT is something related to content delivery via nintendo servers. You don't have to back it up, just the normal save is fine.

    Nothing is ever ban-safe. Assume that if you have a connection to the internet and you have a modified console, game, or game save, that you will be banned. I believe local trading *should* be safe but I give no guarantees. If there is any type of report system via NSO, then that's what'll lead...

    It is a 'device' save, but from what I've seen so far, there is nothing linking the save to the device (e.g. serial number). I have not actually tested with another device because I only have 1.

    What do you mean 'selected'? To create a backup, you save your game in AC, go to JKSV, go to dev. sv > animal crossing new horizons then click 'new'. name your backup. Then you're done; the files are on the SD card.

    I'm abandoning this thread in favor of a discord server (i'll create one) because it's turned into troubleshooting hell for all of the kids just trying to get infinite bells and miles.
