    Hacking DealExtreme now has CycloDS

I agree. Most internet sites will honor a posted price, even if it was a typo. My mom has been able to get stuff off of amazon before for much cheaper then normal(ex. a case of something for the price of one of the items inside) because of this. I don't think this was a typo though, most likely...

    Hacking Tehskeen dead?

I think it has something to do with the recent raids... he first went to homebrew news only a couple of days ago, and and now it is gone.

    Hacking Question about OpenWii

The resister doesn't matter. If you reflash the chip, it should work with no problems. There is apparently a bug in the openwii code that can occasionally corrupt the flash. Reflashing it fixes it.

Yes, for homebrew on the Wii, a different chip will be needed.

1- Kind of. With this, when you put in it the modded Wii, it boots up GCOS, and then you choose(from GCOS menu) which game you want to play. 2- I don't quite get what your saying(or asking?) ...

Hacking ARGH! Which one to choose?

THet best way is to build a chip using an ATMEGA8, and the chiip programmer. http://chiip.descrambler.de/index.php/Programmer Then, flash the openwii firmware to it. You will not need to make nyour own firmware, just use the openwii firmware, and the updates they release. http://openwii.org...

    Hacking Wiikey update: Update!

It's updatable. It uses a ATMEGA8 chip, which can be updated via DVD. This has just been proven by the OpenWii team, which released a DVD update for the ATmega8 chips.

Hacking Wii from Hong Kong... a few questions

From what I remember, most(if not basically all) NTSC-U games work on the NTSC-J consoles. I'm not sure whether the J consoles are the same as the U consoles when it comes to playing PAL games, but if so, that means that about 70% of PAL games should work.

    Hacking Chiip Opensource Modchip

What is the the rated speed of the media? You might want to try burning the games at 8x or 16x. I have the Samsung SH-S183L, and I've used various -R and +R with no problems burning at 8x or 16x.
