Hacking Question et another EmuMMC firmware update thread ... Updating EmuMMC while retaining SysNAND

Very nice, that's because the fuses are burnt during the normale/non-hekate boot process, since the emummc passes from the cfw setup you have that's not a possibility it seems. For future reference: I solved my problem by avoiding using a forwarder to get into homebrew menu.

Hacking Question et another EmuMMC firmware update thread ... Updating EmuMMC while retaining SysNAND

AFAIK since you updated emummc fw and the check is done at boot, booting emummc trough hekate should be safe with or without autorcm. I'm in a similar situation but every time I try updating with choidujour it crashes with the black error window, I'm looking forward to see your results, glhf.

The combination of the two would be dope! Being able to select gyro input source or use it as another analog input would be the best, imagine binding the right and left joycon gyro to different things! This makes for a better suggestion than mine.

It would be quite useful to be able to enable internal gyro when controllers are attached. It would help both in case of gyro lacking controllers such as the usbc gripcontrollers (ex: ipega and Dobe ones) or for the demonxmachina splitpadpro joycons and in case of joycons with broken gyroscope.

Homebrew PKSM - a complete portable Pokemon Save Manager with integrated bank

Hi, it's some time since I've been on this forum, does this homebrew replace gocario's hombrew bank? I love how far this project got, I stopped using my 3ds 1 or 2 weeks after this came out. My friend had me do some little edits on his moon cartridge with the software version present on hombrew...

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
