    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

Are you using a Mac? Sounds like the "archive bit" issue. Quite annoying, but also simple to fix: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-fix-archive-bit-for-all-sd-files-and-folders.515258/ To avoid all this, I actually use a virtual machine (parallels) exclusively for copying files to my switch's...

    Homebrew WIP melonDS for Switch

I just tried the latest release and....wow, what a nice performance! As many already requested, I would really love to see this integrated as a core in RetroArch. Then, Savestates, button remapping, etc. would be handled by RA to give the us users a great experience. Nice work, dude!

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

Are there any news on the vitaquake2 core? When I load the core, or open PAK0.PAK via a playlist entry, RA just crashes. Is it even optimized for the Switch yet or is it still an automated untested builedbot build?

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

I can't get Quake 2 working with RA. When i load the PAK0.PAK, RA just crashes. Is there a trick? And which files need to be in the baseq2-folder exactly?

Alright. Just wanted to know, if I did something wrong. Thank you for working on RetroArch!

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

With todays nightly, vitaQuake2 still crashes when loading the PAK0.PAK. Is there a way to change the renderer to software or is this something only the RA-devs can do?

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

I just saw that vitaQuake2 is now in the nightly. Has anyone tried it already? I am at work right now and will give it a go later. Do I need anything else besides the PAK0.PAK? Is there a specific folder structure needed like for tyrQuake?

Ah, I didn't know that. Then I'll wait until vitaQuake2 appears in the nightlies for the switch someday :)

Quake 2 is in RetroArch for Switch? Did I miss something? Just found on the main libretro site that there's a version for vita. I like the tyrQuake core in RA for Quake 1. I always wondered, if there are any benefits of the standalone version. Are there any?

    Fixed in todays nightly :)

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

I just updated to the latest nightly and after loading any core, the icons for the consoles/playlists in the menu on the left in ozone menu are just black squares. After a restart, everything is back to normal, until you load a game/core.

@rsn8887 I now tested all my favorite C64 games and almost everything works perfect now. I just found two minor things: when you navigate the cursor over the virtual keyboard with the directional buttons, everything is fine. However, when you use the left d-pad you also make the corresponding...

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

Everything seems to work fine, thank you so much. Would it be possible to make a save state at the title screen of a game you just loaded and define it as something like "base save state". Then, when you attach a disc image the core could check if such a "base save state" exists which would...

Playing C64 games on the switch. There is no working onscreen keyboard, so many games can't even be started (e.g. pressing space to skip the intro, etc.) There was a workaround once posted here to get the onscreen keyboard. That involved changed gamepad drivers. If you fiddle with the gamepad...
